Day to Day Intenary
Day 1 - Arrival in Windhoek
Our meet and greet representative will welcome you on your arrival at Windhoek International Airport. He will explain the trip and hand over your travel package including your map. He will also take you to the car rental company in Windhoek to complete all rental procedures. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore the city, visit the museum, shop for essentials, or unwind at your accommodation. Should you be interested, we can book for you a city tour so you can discover the charm of the Windhoek and its grand historic buildings built in German architectural style. In the evening you can have diner at the famous Joe Beer House and try game meet delicacies like Zebra, Oryx, Springbok etc.

Day 2 - Windhoek to Kalahari
The first day takes you southwards for 280 kilometers to Kalahari Anib Lodge situated in the Kalahari Desert. Visiting the Kalahari is like stepping into a world that feels both ancient and alive—it’s a place full of natural beauty, unique wildlife, and deep cultural roots.
The landcrape ranges from red sand dunes and golden grasslands. The sunsets are unreal. Despite being semi-arid, one can find animals like famous black-maned Kalahari lions, cheetahs, oryx, meerkats, and large herds of springbok. the Kalahari also offers some of the best stargazing in the world—clear, massive skies lit up with stars. It’s home to the San people (Bushmen), one of the oldest continuous cultures on Earth. Learning about their traditional way of life is a profound experience

Day 3 - Kalahari to Fish River Canyon
Today you travel approximate 440km to Fish River Canyon. On the way close to Keetmaanshop, visit the Quiver Tree Forest, the great aloe trees of the Kalahari. The trees which are technically aloe plants are well adapted to dry places.
The journey to the canyon is long but definitely worth it as the second most visited tourist attraction in Namibia. Photos rarely reveal the reality of this massive and magnificent natural wonder. The Fish River Canyon is the largest in Africa, and second only to the Grand Canyon worldwide.
When you’re there, you check in at your accommodation and proceed to enjoy stunning views of the canyon. If you wish, you can take on one of the hiking trails. What an end to the day. Then enjoy dinner and get some rest as tomorrow your journey continues.

Day 4 - Fish River Canyon to Luderitz
After a hearty breakfast, you leave the Canyon and you’re off to the windy shore of diamond town of Luderitz. The journey takes you through the village of Aus and you can make a refuelling stop. As you drive from Aus, be on lookout for wild desert horses. They are unique population of wild horses living in the Namib Desert in Namibia. The horses are believed to be descendants of horses from a Kubub stud farm that was abandoned during World War One.

Day 5 - Luderitz
Lüderitz is a captivating coastal town where German colonial architecture meets dramatic desert landscapes and rich history. Whether you’re a history enthusiast, nature lover, or simply seeking a unique travel experience, Lüderitz offers a variety fascinating places to see including the Lüderitz Museum, Maritime Museum, Felsenkirche (Church on the Rock), Goerke Haus, Bogenfels Rock Arch, Shark Island, Diaz Point, Waterfront etc.
On your way in or out, you can explore Kolmanskop, approximately 10km away. An elegant place which grew as greed flourished but then, richer diamond deposits were found elsewhere and with that, Kolmanskop was abandoned and the desert is now reclaiming it.

Day 6 - Luderitz to Sossusvlei
Today, you will spend most of the day on the road to our next destination, the Namib Desert and the giant sand dunes of Sossusvlei. The 500km travel may take approximately 7-8 hours of driving.
The mesmerizing landscape will keep you engaged throughout the trip until your arrival in Sesriem. You’ll arrive, relax and freshen up. Have some dinner and then retreat for the night.

Day 7 - Sossusvlei
Discover the magic of Sossusvlei renowned for its towering dunes, ancient landscape, and the iconic Deadvlei. Access to the area is through the Sesriem Gate which is open by sunrise. From the gate you will drive for about an hour along a mesmerizing landscape to get to Sossusvlei itself. Its recommended to be an early bird so that you can marvel as the sun rise across the dunes.
Exploring Big Daddy, Dead Vlei and Dune 45 will be the highlights of the day. Thereafter, you can go back to the lodge for lunch and rest before dinner. Recommended optional extras you may enjoy include a guided nature drive or a hot air balloon safari.

Day 8 - Sossusveli to Swakopmund
After breakfast you will make your way from to the cooler coastline cities of Walvis bay and Swakopmund. Along the way, you can stop at Solitaire, about 80km from Sesriem for some home-made bakes and an ice cold drink. The journey will reveal another dimension of Namibia’s beautiful landscapes as the mountains and giant sand dunes disappear to break taking open plains and endless horizons.
Along the way be on the lookout for the Hartmann’s mountain zebra’s and Oryxs. You will pass through the scenic Gaub and Kuiseb Canyons and cross the Tropic of Capricorn. You can always make safe stops to capture these moments. You will first arrive in Walvis Bay and then head to Swakopmund along the mesmerizing coastal road passing between the ocean and desert dunes.

Day 9 - Swakopmund
Today you have the whole day to explore Swakopmund and Walvis bay. There are plenty of optional activities to choose from. Options are limitless: You want a day fill with adventure and fun, you can try out sand boarding, quad bike on dunes, sky diving, hot air balloon ride, boat cruise or take a once in lifetime guided adventure to the Sandwich Harbour among many other things.
If you wish for a more relaxed day, you can join a ‘living desert tour’ or you may also opt to simply stroll through town, visit cafes, explore local markets, check the museum, enjoy fresh seafood and stunning sunset views over the ocean.

Day 10 - Swakopund to Damaraland
After cooling off in Swakopmund, the journey resumes northwards to Damaraland, a region in Namibia known for its spectacular rugged, rocky landscape and desert-adapted wildlife.
On the way, visit the Cape Cross Seal colony renowned as one of the largest colonies of Cape fur seals in the world. Here you will see seals lying are all over the coastline and swimming in the waves.
Another attraction you will find along the way is the way is the Brandberg mountain. This is the highest mountain in Namibia and home to thousands of ancient rock paintings – most notably the White Lady.

Day 11 - Damaraland

In the rocky landscape lies hidden valuable cultural treasures of Namibia the famous San people rock engravings. There are more than 2,500 rock engravings in Twyfelfontein which are estimated to be at least 2.000 years old.
You can will also visit the Damara Living Museum and learn more about the way of life of the Damara tribe and see their craftsmanship and their traditional songs and dances.
Alternatively, you can choose to go a rhino tracking excursion with a local expect guide. The trip is a combination driving and walking through the rocky terrain, meandering amid the cliffs and volcanic basalt ridges of the Damaraland region.

Day 12 - Damaraland to Etosha
The journey to Etosha National Park is a scenic few hours drive through more of Damaraland’s outstanding beauty. You will arrive at your Etosha accommodation before noon. The remainder of the day can be set aside to begin exploring the national park. You have an option to explore with your vehicle or join a guided game drive in a Game Viewer. You should return to the Resort before sunset. During sunset, make yourself comfortable at one of the park’s waterholes, located nearby your accommodation and see how elephants, giraffes, zebras and antelopes gather for their daily water consumption. This is a real unforgettable experience!

Day 13 - Etosha
Today is available for a full day of exciting game viewing. You can continue exploring Etosha visiting one waterhole to another. Check your Etosha map already provided to see the different waterholes you can visit to spot wildlife. As Etosha is a desert landscape, water is scarce. Animals can find water on the numerous waterholes scattered throughout the park. This makes game viewing not so difficult as thirsty animals must show up for a much-needed drink. Along the way, you will have closer look at the huge 4730 km2 Etosha Pan. This pristine oval-shaped salt pan and is the central feature of the park.

Day 14 - Etosha to Windhoek
This is the last day of the tour. After breakfast, you are free to check out a few waterholes near your accommodation as you head out of the park. You will drive to Windhoek where you will handover the vehicle and fly back home. If time allows you may stop at Okahandja Mbangura Woodcarvers Craft Market for African curios or visit the Craft Market in Windhoek where you can buy silverneers to take home.
